Canterbury has plenty of car care. What it does not have is a controlled indoor studio set up specifically for machine polishing and ceramic coating, which is why we see so many East Kent cars at our unit in East Farleigh.

Paint correction is not a service that survives being done outdoors. It needs consistent light to see defects, a stable temperature so compounds behave predictably, and a dust-free space so you are not re-introducing the marks you just removed. A driveway offers none of that, and neither does a unit without proper lighting. Our studio is built around exactly this work.

What we do that a mobile valet cannot

We measure paint depth before touching a panel. Clear coat on a modern car is thinner than most people expect, often under 100 microns, and on a resprayed panel it can be less. Knowing what you have to work with is the difference between removing a scratch safely and burning through to primer. We take readings across every panel and record them.

Then we correct under inspection lighting that shows swirls, holograms and buffer trails that daylight hides completely. Only once the paint is genuinely flat do we coat it, because a ceramic coating locks in whatever is underneath. Coating over swirls preserves them for years.

The coating we use, and why

We use PPL Reign, a 10H professional ceramic coating with a seven year rating. It is a trade-only product that requires certification to buy, which is the honest reason it is not sold in a DIY kit. It gives genuine chemical resistance, meaningful hydrophobic behaviour, and a hardness that resists the light marring normal washing inflicts.

We are a straightforward drive from Canterbury via the A2 and M2. We are a drop-off studio, so you bring the car to us at Unit 6, Roses Farm in East Farleigh and collect it once the work is complete.
