What happens to your car in our studio?
Four stages, all done indoors at Unit 6 Roses Farm. We polish first, so you are not sealing in scratches.
1Decontamination wash
Snow foam, two bucket wash, iron fallout and tar removal, then a clay bar. The paint is properly clean before any machine touches it.
2Machine polish under inspection lighting
We measure paint depth, then polish panel by panel under specialist lights. Swirls are removed, not filled.
3Panel wipe
Every surface is wiped with a prep solution to strip polishing oils. This is what lets the coating bond.
4PPL Reign applied and cured indoors
Applied by hand, one panel at a time, then left to cure inside the studio before the car goes back on the road.

How much does ceramic coating cost?
The PPL Reign coating itself is from £200. It always goes on after a machine polish, so most customers pay between £550 and £1,000 in total depending on the size of the car and the condition of the paint. We inspect every car first and confirm the price before we start.
How long will you have my car?
Usually 2 days for a new car or a single stage polish with coating, and 3 to 4 days for a two stage correction with coating. Part of that time is the coating curing indoors, which matters for how long it lasts.
Do I need a polish before the coating?
Yes. The coating locks in whatever is underneath it. If we coated over swirls, you would be looking at those swirls for years. Even new cars get an enhancement polish first.
How long does PPL Reign last?
PPL Reign is a 10H coating rated for up to 7 years. How long it lasts on your car depends on how it is washed and stored. We give you written aftercare advice when you collect it.
How do I wash a ceramic coated car?
Use a pH neutral shampoo, the two bucket method and a clean microfibre mitt. Avoid automatic car washes and strong traffic film removers. The coating makes dirt release easily, so washing takes less time than before.
Is it worth it on an older car?
Often more so. A two stage correction can take years of wash marks out of older paint, and the coating keeps it looking that way. We check paint depth first, so we will tell you honestly if there is not enough clear coat to correct safely.
